Jesus Will Rise from the Dead^(A)

³¹ Then Jesus took ·the twelve apostles [^Lthe Twelve] aside and said to them, “[^LLook; ^TBehold] We are going [^Lup] to Jerusalem. Everything the prophets wrote about the Son of Man will ·happen [be fulfilled/completed/accomplished]. ³² He will be turned over to the Gentiles [^Cthe Roman authorities]. They will ·laugh at [mock] him, insult him, spit on him, ³³ ·beat him with whips [flog him; ^Tscourge him], and kill him. But on the third day, he will rise to life again.”
